Sahel is an international wedding and event planner celebrated for her refined aesthetic, creative vision, and signature white glove service. Her journey began in 2008 with Mansion Model & Event Management, her Dubai based agency, where she produced high profile fashion shows, luxury weddings, and exclusive events for royal families, global corporations, and elite retailers including Bloomingdale’s, Harvey Nichols, Galeries Lafayette, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Her work has been featured in leading Gulf region publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Hello!, Bride, L’Officiel, and many more.
After relocating to New York, Sahel continued crafting unforgettable experiences while working as a corporate flight attendant for ultra high net worth individuals. Known for her impeccable taste and attention to detail, she not only managed elite hospitality but also refurbished private jets, sourced custom interiors, and curated personalized celebrations on board. Her artistry and precision soon caught the attention of one of her clients, who invited her to plan a milestone fiftieth birthday at her Hamptons estate, an event that marked a meaningful turning point in her journey back into event planning.
The defining moment, however, came during her own wedding in Tuscany. Nine months before the celebration, when her planner fell short of expectations, Sahel made the bold decision to terminate their contract and take full control. She personally designed and executed a breathtaking three day wedding that left every guest in awe and reignited her lifelong passion for wedding and event design.
Today, through Sahel Rothera Events, she curates bespoke weddings and gala experiences around the world, from New York, Los Angeles, and Dubai to the heart of Italy. Each event is crafted with heartfelt dedication, authenticity, and timeless elegance, reflecting Sahel’s belief that every celebration should feel as personal and meaningful as her own.
